Notifications
Notifications are how Thirdlane Connect gets your attention when you are not looking at the app - a new message, an incoming call, or a mention. They let you stay responsive without keeping the window in front of you all day, and you can tune them so you hear about what matters and stay quiet on what does not.
When you receive a notification about a direct or a Channel message, you can click on “Reply” and respond without opening Thirdlane Connect, or click on the notification to open Thirdlane Connect. Notifications look different on different platforms.
Here is an example of a notification on Mac:
You can also control notifications per conversation - choose to be notified about All messages, Mentions only, or Nothing for any channel or chat. See Per-conversation notification levels.
See Notifications Settings section to learn about different notifications and how to use and manage them.
