Voicemail
Voicemail lets callers leave a recorded message when you cannot take a call, so you never lose an important request just because you were busy or away. Thirdlane Connect shows your messages in a visual list you can play back, download, or return - and, if you turn on email notifications, alerts you the moment a message arrives.
Voicemail is available for calls to your phone system extensions - that is, not when someone calls you using a direct Connect-to-Connect call.
Provided that you have Voicemail enabled, callers to your extension will be asked to leave a Voicemail if you:
- Reject the incoming call
- Call is not answered within a time specified in Voicemail Settings
Accessing Voicemail
To access Voicemail, click on the “Voicemail” icon in the main menu, which shows you the number of unread voicemail messages.
Clicking on the icon displays a list of voicemail messages, where you can listen, download, mark as new, and delete messages. You can call back the caller who left you a message by selecting “Call” from the right-click menu.
Voicemail can be enabled and configured in Voicemail Settings.
