Partner Program

Built for the channel.

Thirdlane sells through partners — MSPs, UCaaS providers, integrators, and resellers worldwide — and never direct to end customers. There are two quite different relationships underneath that, depending on whether the end customer is yours or someone else’s, and it is worth knowing which one you are in before you talk to us.

Two ways to work with Thirdlane

The difference that matters is who the end customer belongs to, because that decides where the margin comes from and who answers the phone when a user calls.

You operate the service

MSPs, ITSPs, telcos, and UCaaS providers

License the multi-tenant platform and run it yourself, or have Thirdlane operate it under your brand. You set retail pricing, you bill your customers, and you own the relationship. There is no program to join and no margin we hand you — what you keep is the spread between your license and what you charge.

You sell or implement for someone else

Integrators, VARs, and resellers

Deliver turnkey Thirdlane deployments for organizations that will run communications for themselves — dedicated or multi-tenant, on-prem or private cloud. This is the track where partner-tier pricing and resale margin apply, alongside NFR lab licenses and enablement.

Who does what

The margin in this business is the operational work, so it is worth being exact about which of it is yours and which is ours.

We supply and maintain the platform
Software, releases, security patches, and the documentation your team works from.
You own the customer
Branding, pricing, billing, contracts, and the relationship. Thirdlane never sells direct to end customers, on any deployment model.
You support their users
First-line support for your customers is your work — and it is the work that earns you the spread.
We support you
Thirdlane support covers your engineers rather than your customers’ users: escalation above your own first line, sized as a tier alongside your license.

What we don’t ask of you

  • No channel conflict — Thirdlane does not sell communications services to your end customers
  • Training and certification are available, not prerequisites — nothing gates your first deployment
  • Licensing can be sized per seat or per concurrent call for the service you operate

What working with Thirdlane includes

Pricing that scales with capacity

Choose per-seat or per-concurrent-call licensing without requiring another platform for each customer.

Co-marketing and lead support

Joint webinars, case studies, and qualified leads forwarded into your region.

Training and certification

Technical and sales enablement for your team. Stay current with platform releases.

Direct engineering access

Talk to the engineers who build the product. No layers between your support team and ours.

Considering reselling instead? We’ll tell you when each path wins — operator margin and customer ownership vs the speed of reselling a SaaS UC vendor.

Operate vs resell →

Operate your own service

Choose whether you operate the platform or have Thirdlane operate it, while you retain your brand, pricing, billing, support, and customer relationships.
