Thirdlane pricing
Per seat (extensions)
Predictable, easy to model against headcount.
- Best when every user needs a phone, an app, and a voicemail
- Common for UCaaS, enterprise IT, and MSP managed-voice offerings
- Connect chat, mobile, and softphone seats included in the seat price
Per concurrent calls (channels)
Better economics when only a fraction of users are on the phone at once.
- Best for contact centers, outbound shops, and mostly-inbound retail / hospitality
- Buy capacity, not chairs
- Same Connect apps and feature set as the per-seat model
What drives the price
The variables we ask about during discovery — none of them are gotchas.
- Licensing basis
- Per seat or per concurrent call. Tell us call volume during discovery and we will recommend.
- Optional modules
- Contact Center, CRM, AI voice intelligence, and WhatsApp Business each unlock independently.
- Deployment model
- Self-hosted annual subscription or Thirdlane-managed monthly subscription.
- Term length
- Annual by default. Multi-year terms (typically 2 or 3 years) available on request with rate lock — common for service providers and large enterprises planning a known capacity-growth window.
- Support tier
- Standard support included. Premium and 24x7 tiers available.
- Add-ons
- DIDs, SIP trunking, recording storage, and HA / geo-redundancy priced separately when needed.
Who buys what

For UCaaS and Service Providers
MSPs, ITSPs, and UCaaS operators
Run a multi-tenant Thirdlane platform under your brand. Wholesale pricing scales with platform-wide seats or concurrent calls, not per end customer.
- Per-seat or per-concurrent-call wholesale pricing
- Channel and partner tier discounts
- White-label admin, Connect web, and Connect mobile
- Per-tenant billing data via APIs
For Enterprise IT
Multi-site enterprises and contact centers
Single-organization deployments with multiple sites or business units, delivered on dedicated infrastructure by an MSP or integrator.
- Per-seat works well for most enterprise UC
- Per-concurrent-call recommended for high-volume contact centers
- Multi-site routing, presence, and call recording included
- On-prem deployment available for data-residency requirements
For Smaller Organizations
One organization, single site
A single-organization Thirdlane PBX with predictable pricing for organizations under a few hundred users — enterprise-grade voice, Connect, and optional contact-center capability without operating a multi-tenant platform.
- Entry-level seat counts with predictable pricing
- Connect chat, calls, video, and screen sharing included
- Contact center and CRM modules optional
- On-prem or Thirdlane-managed

Pricing FAQ
Questions that come up most often. If yours is not here, mention it in the demo request.
Why don’t you publish list prices?
Pricing depends on extensions, concurrent calls, optional modules, redundancy, location, recording retention, support tier, and whether you operate the platform or Thirdlane does. We size each quote against those requirements.
Per seat or per concurrent call — which model is right for us?
Use per-seat when every user needs a phone, voicemail, and Connect app. Use per-concurrent-call when only a fraction of users are on the phone at once — contact centers, outbound shops, retail, hospitality, hotels, seasonal staff. Rule of thumb: if peak concurrent calls are less than 1/3 of seats, per-concurrent-call is cheaper.
Self-hosted or Thirdlane-managed — how does pricing differ?
Self-hosted: you license the platform under an annual subscription and run it on your own infrastructure; you bring DIDs and SIP trunks. Thirdlane-managed: we run the platform under your brand, billed monthly per seat or per concurrent call. Same software, same features — the difference is who operates the infrastructure.
Do you offer multi-year contracts?
Yes. Annual is the default, but multi-year terms — typically 2 or 3 years — are available on request, usually chosen by service providers and large enterprises wanting price predictability across a known capacity-growth window. Multi-year terms can be billed annually or prepaid upfront; rate lock applies for the full term either way. Multi-year is available for both self-hosted and Thirdlane-managed deployments.
Is there a free trial or proof of concept?
Yes. Hands-on demo environments with sample tenants and live calls let you walk every feature path before signing. For larger deployments we set up a dedicated PoC tenancy you can put your own users into for an evaluation period. Both are free.
What’s included in support?
Standard support includes business-hours response, software updates via repositories, security patches, and platform documentation. Premium adds priority response and named contacts; 24x7 is available for production-critical deployments. Support tier is sized into the same quote as the license.
Is there a channel or partner program?
Yes. The Thirdlane Partner Program supports MSPs, ITSPs, telcos, and integrators reselling to their own customers. Tiered channel margins, deal registration, NFR lab licenses, and partner enablement are included. Request a partner conversation as part of your demo.
Can we change pricing model later?
Yes. Per-seat and per-concurrent-call licenses can be switched at renewal, and we will run the math against your real usage data. We also rebalance the seat/channel mix mid-term for service providers whose customer mix shifts.
