Tenant Branding

Tenant Branding lets you give a single organization its own look in the Configuration Manager - its logo and brand colors - overriding the system defaults from Branding. This matters most for service providers and multi-tenant deployments, where each customer expects to see their own identity rather than the platform’s, so an administrator working inside a tenant sees that tenant’s branding. Leave any field empty to inherit the system default.

Upload a tenant logo (recommended height 24px) to override the system logo for this organization. The tenant logo appears in the Configuration Manager toolbar when working within this tenant.

Because the toolbar renders the logo at a fixed 24px height, a horizontal image (wider than it is tall, transparent background) fits best. Tall, square, or banner-wide images look cramped or overflow, since the logo is not cropped or resized to fit.

Name wordmark fallback. If no logo is uploaded, the toolbar shows the organization’s name as a clean text wordmark - in the tenant’s brand color - instead of the platform name. So a tenant is always identifiable even without a logo image, and skipping the logo is a perfectly good option when you do not have a toolbar-friendly one.

Use Remove to delete the tenant logo and revert to the name wordmark.

Logo links to URL. Specify a URL to open when the user clicks on the logo.

Favicon

Upload a square PNG - 32x32 or 64x64 works well - to override the system browser-tab icon for this organization. Use Remove to revert to the system icon, and Save to apply.

This is worth setting wherever administrators work across several organizations in separate tabs, since the tab icon is the only thing distinguishing them at a glance once the titles are truncated.

Brand Colors

Primary Color. Overrides the system primary color for this tenant. Leave empty to inherit the system color.

Secondary Color. Overrides the system secondary color for this tenant. Leave empty to inherit the system color.

Save to apply changes.

Best practices

  • Upload a logo close to the recommended 24px height with a transparent background so it sits cleanly in the toolbar; a horizontal shape works best.
  • If you do not have a toolbar-friendly logo, leave it empty and rely on the name wordmark rather than uploading a tall or oversized image that will not fit.
  • Set only the colors you actually want to change; leaving a color empty keeps the system default, which avoids clashing one-off overrides.
  • Point Logo links to URL at the customer’s own site or portal so the logo doubles as a familiar navigation link.
  • Branding - the system-wide defaults these settings override.
  • Organization Overview - where tenant branding fits among the other organization settings.
